everything means nothing if i ain't got you

Hey hey hey!!! I tried...I really did. But it just did NOT happen. Updating just takes the back seat to school and stuff like that but fortunately for you, today we're off from school (no school whoo!) so here I am.

Well the week after the wedding was sadly extremely boring. It was school, homework, meetins for NHS and with Mr. V, not working, more school and homework. The only thing that was somewhat funny was me and Lindsay going driving around...just like old times! We hung around...ummm Reinholds (that's all I'm gonna say) and didn't see anybody interesting. Oh, and Lindsay almost got us killed because she turned on this sharp road and almost hit a truck, geeze. Later we went to Dunkin Donuts for the first time ever (I was dying for a frozen coffee thinger) and then later we went to Wal-Mart and were very unsuccessfuly in our shopping because the cashier was FREAKIN RETARDED and didn't know how to work anything and screwed up my whole thing and was charging stuff on my card twice and blah blah blah.

I don't know...I'm looking in my agenda from that week and it says Wal-Mart like three days out of seven. That's pretty sad, haha. What can I say? It's fun to buy stuff there and it's cheap so whatever. Oh, I remember what I bought! I picked up the pictures from the wedding...they came out alright I guess. Nothing too great plus we forgot about one camera so we'll all wondering where the pictures from the church were and the camera was in my trunk for like two weeks.

That Saturday I went to my Uncle's house for birthdays and then went to my mom's friend's house to try on this dress she got for the Homecoming dance. It was too big and I already had a dress that I ordered but we took it anyway and maybe if I can wear it to the Valentine dance (if I go) or something like that. On Monday I found out that the stupid dress I ordered was on back order until AFTER the dance so that was dumb. That night my mom and I went and bought an outfit for me to wear. On Tuesday I went shopping with Rachel and Brit for Rachel's dress and stuff and she got really nice stuff so that was a fun night. We also saw Baby Momma at the mall with LP and it was scary!!! We also learned from Rachel's grandma that khakis are tacky, hence "Tacky Khakis", hehe.

Wednesday was spirit night at school but my friends and I decided not to go because the people at our school are jackasses and always ruin things by acting retarded and stuff. Plus, it doesn't seem like anybody really seems to like us and ignores us so really, what's the point? Instead I went up to the mall and I bought shoes for the dance, two pairs of earrings (because I couldn't decide) and a little charm for a necklace...it's a martini glass and the stone is pink and then there's an olive which is green. Very cute if I do say so myself.

Thursday was work and Friday was the Homecoming football game!! I went there and met up with Rachel and Heidi and we had a lot of fun. Heidi eventually left and I hung out with just Rachel and her boyfriend and every now and then a few other people would stop in. Then when the bandies had their break during the 3rd quarter, I talked with Sarah and Rachel practically the whole time. The game wasn't that exciting (especially because this one person wasn't there) but it was still a lot of fun and I'm glad I went because it was our last Homecoming as seniors. Lindsay never showed and up though, so that sucked. In fact, I haven't heard from her since Friday morning so I hope everything is alright. Saturday was my last time taking the SATs EVER!! Hopefully I'll do a little better than last time.

Then it was the dance yay! I was gonna wear pants with the shirt that I got but I had a black skirt and decided that it would be more dressy than the pants. The shirt I got was like a poncho type thing but it wasn't a knitted one or whatever, it was this really think fabric and was black and greeeeeeen, yay. I picked up Sam and Jen since none of us had dates :( and we went and hung out with Rachel, Chelsie, Zac, Becca, and Mel and her date. A few other people were in and out. I didn't really dance a whole lot but like the football game it was our last Homecoming and it was fun anyway...just spending time with my friends and stuff.

Yesterday I had to work for five freakin hours, but hey at least I'm getting some extra hours. Then it's today, haha. I didn't do much of anything today. Oh, last night I rented two movies, Mean Girls and Saved! at Blockbuster. I don't know what the big deal about Mean Girls was...it was an OK movie but nothing special. Saved! on the other hand was much better. It was funny, sad, serious and everything all together and I liked it way better than Mean Girls. Today sucked so far because I'm getting sick and I don't want to, especially because we're going to New York next weekend for the WHOLE weekend and I don't wanna be sick and miserable on the trip. I'm so excited for it though, we haven't stayed there overnight (this time for TWO nights) for a loooooong time so it should be fun. I gotta go out and buy my cameras since I'm a freak about taking pictures even if I suck and they never come out.

I guess I'm gonna go now...maybe do some homework and then I have to go to the College Fair and 6:30, then stay after to help clean up. Ahhhh I hate being sick!
