So I figured it was about time that I update this...it's only been over a month and some exciting events have taken place. I'll try my best to remember what I've been doing and you are all very lucky kids because usually I remember every single day, including school and work days, but I know that isn't going to happen so only major (to me they're major haha) will be included. Enjoy...
Ummm last last last last last Saturday I had absolutely nothing to do and my parents were taking a little road trip down to MD to go to some "huge" mall kinda cose to B-More so I decided to go. Lindsay also came with us at the last second due to extreme boredom as well and overall it was an interesting day. The mall turned out to be not-so-huge and majorly ghetto-fied. Lindsay called it the "The Black Mall" hahahhaha. We're so bad. But seriously, the mannequins were black. It wasn't too bad for the first hour and half or so but then it got really boring and Lindsay and I (mainly me) got agitated and stopped talking. After the mall/being pissed off/buying lots of earrings and flip flops my parents drove into B-More for a little and that was slightly exciting. We saw gangsters driving from the back seat of their cars...is that really necessary?? Umm I also got some semi-exciting phone messages from Monica and Lindsay was mean to me, the end.
Sunday was a busy day. I had to go to my uncle's house for "Easter" even though it wasn't until the next weekend. Whatever...it was boring as fuck and Chelsie ended up calling me right as we got there saying she was bored and was driving there to pick me up (thank God). So I had to suffer there doing absolutely nothing, explaining to everyone over and over about what happened to my car, and being teased about it by my uncle. Ughhh my family. Chelsie finally got there and we escaped to some random highway that took us to like the wayyy southern part of what is still considered Philadelphia. We were semi-lost but then we found the Granite Run Mall (!!!) and did a little shopping. I got Dawson some fabulous little gifts for his birthday. There was also some random carnival thing that we checked out but it was all little kiddies eating cotton candy and playing dumb games. Nexxxt we went back to my house and took my car to TH to visit Maaaatthew and to go to Wal-Mart in which I set off my stupid car alarm while being "discreet" so a certain fugly headed freak wouldn't see us, oops. Then I drove back to my house so Ho could get her car and then I returned to Ephrata to meet up with Monica, Dave, Dawson, and Lindsay for dinner to celebrate Lil' D's birthday. I thought the dinner was fabulous hahaha. Dawson got to like third base...hahahha don't even ask. After that guess where we went!?!??! Shocker...we went to WAL-MART, can you even believe it? I know I can't.
The next week looks like mostly school and work in the begining of the week and then it was Easter break. I think I hung out with Hoehn one day and another day Melissa was home from school, so her, Rachel, and myself decided to go "job hunting" which in our terms means shopping. I think we went to the mall and bought nothing. We also went to Old Navy (who was hiring but I'm too retarded/lazy to ask about it) and I bought sunglasses. We also went to Wendy's and had a fabulous meal with lots of old people since Melissa and Rachel insist on going out at like 9 in the morning, my gosh. I probably hung out with Lindsay that night since I have no other friends.
Friiiiiiday was, first of all, Rachel's birthday but it was also Alkaline Trio! In the morning I was bored so I went with Lindsay and her mommy to the Exton mall. By the time we got home it was almost time to leave so I went home and got ready and then picked Brittany up and went back to Lindsay's house. I finally got to meet Ron Weasly aka Nick and I don't have much of a reaction since he probably uttered 10 words the entire 7 hours we were all together. The car ride..as stated many times before, was like one big huge awkward silence which everyone knows is just terrible. I heard crickets, I swear. The actual concert itself was pretty good...I don't know much by Alkaline Trio except for their newest CD and a few other songs so that part sucked a little. As of this point in my life, I'd have to say AT was the roughest BY A LAND SLIDE. Some of the others were a little tight but this was the worst I'd experienced thus far in life. We got crushed and pushed backward due to the "mosh pit" which actually existed this time and wasn't weak and five seconds long like all the others. At one point I was compressed between two extremely tall males and it was like suffocation and I like cried hahaha. I felt sooo bad for little Brittany who is just shy of five feet and probably had the worst time out of everyone. Overall it was crazy and I like crazy stuff and it was cool. Oh, and Lindsay's boyfriend just randomly dissappeared at the beginning of the concert so I have no comments about him. WEIRD is all I can say, and Lindsay knows it.
Saturday was DEATH. Big time, hardcore, major death. The concert wasn't over too late the night before but I still didn't get to bed until like 2 something in the morning. Brittany even stayed over secretly since it was so late. Then I had to get up at like 4:45 to take her home and drive into work at WM by 5:30ish ughhhhh. I worked from 5:30am until 4:00pm and it was pretty bad for the first half. I did work with exciting people so that made it fun AND I got to see "someone" as I was leaving, ahhhhhh!! I was spoken to haha. Saturday night, instead of being normal and getting some god damn sleep Lindsay and I hung out...I think we drove somewhere random and ate food and then got lost in the woods near Morgantown. Sunday was like a repeat of Saturday minus the tiredness and work (since it was Easter). I don't even remember where Lindsay and I went on this day but it was probably "driving around" as usual. Maybe Wawa hahaha.
On Monday I was still off from school so my mommy and I had a nice (not really) lunch together and then I had to woooooork. More work and school the rest of the week. I think this was one of the weeks where I was at Suckway every single day of life, ew. Ooohh on Saturday Sugarcult came to Alvernia and Lindsay and I took Monica. They kinda sucked and it was really hilarious because during one of their songs all the electric in the gym went out HAHAHAHAHAH. Poor little Alvernia couldn't handle big bad Sugarcult...puhhhlease. There was a lot of eye rolling by Monica and myself as Lindsay was in fairy land and couldn't give any real responses to anything we asked her. Ummm we did see a lot of PEOPLE which is always fun. Oh my worddd I think I saw another guy to add to my "Hottest Guys Ever Viewed On Earth" list. He was hotttt, smoking, on fire, insanely gorgeous, fasljdfksjdfksjdf. Monica agreed. We saw the horse face girl and her gang of liars and whores, drunks, Salad Fingers (who had to search through my purse in case I was carrying a concealed weapon), oh and NEWMAN!!!! Celebrities all around. After much debate/discussion with Mon and careful consideration of all pros and cons, I decided it would be best if I called off work the next morning due to death/tiredness/not being able to fucntion properly and many many others reasons. I hate Sundays @ Suckway as compared to one year ago when I loooooved them.
For some reason all of this stuff I'm writing about seems like FOREVER ago, whyyy??? The next week was more work and school. At WORK on Monday and Tuesday I was in heavennnnn and it is indescribable. I think I spelled that wrong but it doesn't matterrrrr. So basically M/T = bliss, heaven, happiness, asdkfjaskdjf. The rest of the week sucked ball until Saturdayyy when Lindsay and I headed out for THIRD EYE BLIND!! Ahhhh, but first we went to Suckway to visit some lovely people and as much as Monday and Tuesday were fabulous, Saturday was like depression. There was no talking AT ALL, crryyyyy. Lindsay said it was my fault but I just don't know. Anyway, Suckway sucked but Third Eye Blind was pretty damn good. We actually SAT down on bleachers, and that was actually kinda nice. We also made fun of like everyone there as usual. Lots of lookalikes and talking about boys in flip flops etc. Good times at V-Nov hahaha. The parking lot there was full of beer bottles and hidden rapists and people making out in cars. We didn't get lost, the end.
The next week was the last official week of school, not including finals week. I actually had two finals this week instead of during finals week, which is "not allowed" but the professors do it anyway. Umm I probably worked too, oh and WITHOUT certain people since Phyllis decided we are just not busy enough for three people anymore. WHY!?!?? Nooooo!!! Anyway, I survived my two finals, Spanish and Psych, and let out a big sigh of relief when FRIDAY rolled around. And now (drum roll) prepare for the explanation of THE BEST WEEKEND EVER....
Fridayyyy I picked up the lovely Chelsie Hoehn and we packed up my car with all of our weekend belongings and set out for NEW JERSEY following mis padres on the TP. We had a nice little trip listening to Chelsie's weirdo music. We arrived at the wonderful hotel, which was nice, but my father forgot to mention the fact that it was practically on top of the Newark Airport. It was actually kinda cool to be able to see the planes taking off and stuff but it was LOUD if you were outside. Our room was nice. We got upgraded to a suite due to I don't know what but we had a nice little living room and bedroom separated by a potty house and a kitchen. Our bed was like HUMONGOUS. We honestly could've fit three or four more people...too bad no one else could come :( We chilled around the room doing nothing, making phone calls, watching airplanes, applying make up etc. Oohhh ohh we also discovered we had a lovely (daytime only) clear view of Manhattan and the Empire State Building from our room, yay! I tried to take a picture but the lights of the NJ wasteland that was in between us and NYC was all smoggified and you can't really see anything. Next we prepared to head into NYC with my parents and it was fuuuuun. We sang little songs in the car on the way over there in the massive Friday night traffic. We saw A LOT of Hondas...hahahhahha. Umm we ate some fabulous pizza as usual and then we got dropped off in Times Square for about two hours, perfectttt. We went in the Virgin megastore and I bought some musical items that I needed. We also searched for Fossil (which reminds me to look it up) but with no such luck, tear tear. We got some Starbucks and drank it on the corner of some random street where a guy with a hose kept spraying closer and closer to us. We saw Dave Chappelle in a cab HAHAHA. Ummm nothing else happened in NYC except massive tears from me as we left. We'll be back, don't worry. Did I mention how I love vacations???
Saturday was the first day of BAMBOOZLE which I appropriately re-namd "The Booze". It was...excellent. We applied our little sunscreen to our faces so we didn't turn into lobsters and ventured into the crowd of like a million people. I'm glad Hoehn is good at pushing people because I probably would've been crushed. We saw about ten bands on the first day and ten on the second. When we first got there we just walked around and checked everything out. We saw Halifax play a little, although we didn't really watch the whole thing. The first band that we actually watched was Hellogoodbye, and for anyone that knows Hellogoodbye they're like really cheesy sounding with a lot of keyboards and stuff. Anyway, their keyboards BROKE, wtf??? How are they supposed to sound decent if they have no keyboards...what a dissappointment. Armor For Sleep was next and I thought they were really really good...I like them a lot and I actually knew most of the songs. We had a little bit of a gap so we went to get some beverages that were like a thousand dollars each and then returned to the outside world to "listen" to From First To Last. I know like one or two songs by them and I just wanted to see them simply to SEE them since the singer kinda scares me. Anyway we started out near the stage and the loudness was so overpowering we moved alllllll the way over to the other side of the parking lot/whatever it was and it was STILL deafening. Ahhh they were scary too haha. Umm we were hungry so we got in line for some food but had a perfect view of both main stages so while in line we got to see Streetlight Manifesto (which kinda didn't fit in with the other music) and Hawthorne Heights. It's kinda weird, to me anyway, at these festival things like everyone in line and standing around who isn't really watching the bands up close is singing along. I'm just weird and thought that was interesting. Ummm the lead singler of HH is like...southern?? He has a southern accent and everything...nice way to cover it up on the singing dude. After food we saw Motion City Soundtrack which was like impossible to watch since all these stupid little girls kept pushing in and out of the crowd and I spent more time trying not to fall over than actually watching them play. I did get to hear Everything Is Alright so that made it all better. We left the actual crowd of that early and just listened from a far. Next we saw the All-American Rejects who were pretty decent...but the singer is like always drunk. Every time I've ever seen them on TV or anything he is so drunk and just makes up words while he's singing haha. They played mostly new songs so that kinda sucked since the old CD is better but whatever. Next Chelsie drug me over to watch Thursday, but I'm not complaining since mostly everything else we saw was something I liked. Thursday was...intense. I know like NONE of their songs but they were still really good. When they were over I begged Hoehn to stay for a little to watch Fall Out Boy. MY GOD...they suck. She tried to tell me but I didn't listen and insisted on listening to them for a little. I think we got through two songs, coincidentally the first two songs in the same order from their CD (ew) and wow I was shocked by the suckiness. That guy cannot even singgggggg ahhhh. I told Hoehn they should just play and let the audience sing since they sound better anyway. So we left during the third song and we could STILL hear it the whole way to the car and even IN the car ahhh. Sorry Fall Out Boy, I love listening to your little CD but you suck big time. So basically we left The Booze at like 9pm and got back to the hotel by 10. Hoehn's little crazy boyfriend decided to drive allllll the way up to see her, what a crack head. Anyway he did it, and spent the night with her on the little sofa bed.
Sunday was the second day and I'd say it was better on Sunday but that's just me. I think I had more fun on Sunday due to...stuff. Same deal as yesterday...parking, sunscreen, lots of and lots of people. It seemed like more people than Saturday if that's even possible. There were still tickets on sale for Sunday too...we tried to convinced LMH to come but she had to wooooork ewww. Anyway first we watched 30 Seconds To Mars who weren't too spectacular even though everyone there seemed to love them. I forced Hoehn to watch Acceptance, who weren't too bad but I think the songs they chose to play weren't the best. They played a lot of slow ones and it wasn't too energetic but I still loooove them. For some reason, I guess to change it up a little, they had Method Man which was actually funny to watch. It was even funnier to watch a bunch of "alternative" kids rush over to the stage to watch Method Man, us not included. We chilled on the ground with some loser kid behind us rapping along, eww. After Method Man I wanted to watch Say Anything, but Panic! At The Disco was right after Method Man on the same stage, so we just stayed put and got a good spot up close. We had to wait a little but it wasn't too bad. OH MY GOD...did I mention before how "rough" Alkaline Trio was?? Let's not even go there...I'm pretty sure Sunday May 7th was the "roughest" concert(s) of my life. I couldn't even imagine that Panic would get so rough but yeahhhh they did. So basically the people were so overly excited for Panic they all decided to squeeze together SO TIGHT and then PUSH all over the place. It took everything for me and Hoehn not to fall over. At one point someone must've fell and then there was a domino effect in which about ten people behind me fell, including me, and then Hoehn almost fell. It was terrible but so thrilling haha. At one point I know both Hoehn and I gave up on pushing people and just moved wherever and tried to listen to them. That didn't really work out so we had to escape and finally got out of the crowd. People were like yelling at us to go back and asking us why we're leaving haha. Umm maybe because I'm overheated and gross and I just fell over on a pile of 10 people?? We barely even got to watch Panic but they were still good from what I can remember...awww the singer looks like Hoehn's boyfriend!!!!! After that little episode we were like wiped out so we kinda sat on the ground in between the two main stages so we could still watch the bands that were up next. We watched Underoath which was like intense and I'm not realy into it, Sensesfail who were actually pretty good, and half of Saves The Day who again were a little intense haha. We went to get some drinks and on the way back we caught Nightmare Of You at one of the other stages...aww they're cute. The rest of the night was really really good because we decided we were up for another Panic-like experience of getting crushed haha. We watched HIM and they were actually really good even though that damn butterly song is forever stuck in my head. I liked them a lot actually and I was surprised at the non roughness. I think the roughness earlier was due to little kiddies who don't know how to stand up like a normal person and not fall over and push everyone, idiots. We stayed where we were and pushed even closer to watch AFI which is another band which I know some of the songs and actually like them. We feared death but we survived!! It was like the best experience ever haha. People were crowd surfing like right behind us and I wasn't even afraid, shockerrrr. I'm like in love with AFI now haha. They are goooooood and have amazing hair and ahh they are just fabulous. So basically even though it was rough and lots of pushing and crowd surfing and getting kicked in the head, it was the most fun. Last but certainly not last was Taking Back Sunday, who unfortunately were at the other stage which meant we had to like run over there along with everyone else and their brother. We tried to get semi-close but the people were packed so tight we couldn't even get in at all. Plus, it was dark which makes it a little scarier if one of us were to get seperated. We finally pushed our way back out to the back, which there technically didn't exist since almost everyone there had to be watching, and found a spot that was far away but not surrounded by people and we still had a decent view. Aww I love TBS even more now too. We left them early too to beat traffic and...it was over!!! We drove home, the end. There are a lottttttt more memories and little jokes that I didn't include but I'll probably never forget. I'm definitely liking Ho's idea of getting a whole group of people and going again next year, yay!!! Mark your calendars kiddies.
I think I shall stop here and write about my life the past week and half in another post due to this one being EXTREMELY long. I shall be back.
Congrats
If you're made it this far, then you're worthy of being my friend. The end.
