what's in YOUR goody bag?

Just thought I'd write a quick little blog...hehe! Nothing too exciting since I last wrote which was only about two days ago. School starts in eight days I believe...I'm kinda excited, kinda not. Well, the only thing that can really get me writing is if I write about my week.

I don't even remember what happened on Monday. Probably nothing too exciting or I would've remembered.

Tuesday was volunteering from 12-4 then I came home and did nothing.

On Wednesday I decided not to go to youth group. It just isn't the same anymore but we're all trying to dom something about it. I'm definitely going to go next week and see what action we're going to take. I mean I understand that it's "youth group" and that it is supposed to be sort of a bible study. But then like Lois, the used-to-be youth leader says, it used to be called Family Fun Night. The whole concept was supposed to be that kids that attend the church regularly on Sunday can invite friends to check out the church for a night of fun.

It used to be that we would have a small lesson that was ALWAYS fun or a small discussion about something and then we would just hang out in the youth room talking about school and such. Now it's practically a Sunday School in which we meet w/ the whole congregation, the pastor takes prayer and praise requests, we pray, we sing, we get bored, we go to the youth room, listen to a lesson that doesn't make sense and that nobody understands, then sit around and do nothing until it's time to leave. I totally hope that some of the kids that are actually concerned will do something about it. It would be really cool to invite some of my other friends that don't normally go to church, but I honestly think that the intensity right off the bat would scare the crap out of them. I actually think they would come if it was called Family Fun Night Again. THEN, if they like it they can choose to get involved in the youth activities and/or come to church on Sunday.

Ok...enough on that subject. Let's move on to something lighter, shall we? On Thursday, Melissa, Chelsie, Sam, & I went to the mall. First of all, we had stalkers that followed us for a good portion of our time at the mall. They were just dumb and looked like idiots. Then we met this really cool guy named "Joe" at Sam Goody. He was very helpful in helping us find what we were looking for and he was VERY friendly. So friendly in fact that we all developed a little crush on him...well maybe just me and Sam but whatever. So of course, we turned into stalkers ourselves and kept going back to Sam Goody and eventually made fools of ourselves. It was funny at the time, but looking back it was a bit immature. So that was that. Oh and Chelsie grabbed my boob. Yeah, that really topped my night off...*sarcasm*

Friday was more volunteering and then going to the smaller mall where my dad works to buy clothes. I found two pairs of jeans that I like and I got both of them for like 13 bucks. They were very on sale...I think it was 80% and then since my dad works there it makes it another 20% off.

Today I didn't really do anything in the day. It was stormy today...lots of lightning and thunder and such. Then later on around 9-ish I went over to my neighbor's house to watch a movie. We finished watching American Pie 2 and then they convinced me to watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It was a little dumb but I guess it was pretty funny.

Tomorrow we (my neighbors, Mike & Nick) and I are going to see American Wedding around 3:00 which will be # 2 for me. One thing I'm worried about...they always ask sooo many questions while we're watching a movie. Tonight one of Mike's questions was about a character in the movie and how she looks tall. "Doesn't she look really tall in this movie? She looks shorter in American Pie...doesn't she? How tall do you think she is?" Too funny...lol.

Also talked to Rachel today...she got back from her Pittsburgh trip therefore she couldn't come over. Then tomorrow she's going to some party w/ Caroline. That makes sense...she can't take a walk to the Denver park with me but she can go to a party with Caroline. Probably because Car is like 13 years old *seems* innocent. But I bet if her parents knew what was said behind closed doors I don't think she's be going to any parties anytime soon. Well I guess I'm just a little jealous and a lot pissed. I feel like her parents are saying that they trust Caroline more than me. Oh well...I do have other friends.

I'm done.

Smooches, *Me*

Congrats

If you're made it this far, then you're worthy of being my friend. The end.
