workin' the corner at the grocery store

Hey all! It's sorta early...only 10:48 in the AM. I woke up a little while ago and figured I'd write some stuff before my boring day begins.

Since it's Saturday I'll write about my week. As you know from my last entry, I slept over at Rachel's on Sunday night along with Caroline and Tonya, a girl from Rachel's church. We had a blast! We made like 5 bags of popcorn and watched movies until the wee hours of the night. I think we were up til like 4 AM. Then on Monday I don't even remember what I did. I was at Rachel's til like 4 in the afternoon. Then her step-mom took everybody home and I don't know what I did for the rest of the night! I know I did something but I can't remember.

On Tuesday I had to volunteer from 12-4 and it was pretty slow the whole day so the other lady I work with left early. Right after she left I got swamped with calls and I was working right up until I leave. Then that night my dad took me to Wal-Mart when he got home because I needed shampoo and other hair stuff. My dad also bought a cell phone that's basically mine but my mom says she gonna use it too. So that was a late night.

Wednesday was youth group and Caroline came along with us. We played "Whisper Down the Lane" and it was hilarious. It was supposed to teach us about gossip and how things change after so many people tell and re-tell stories and rumors. It didn't work for me though :( I think gossiping is in my DNA because right after the lesson I was already talking about people. I also slept over at Rachel's on Wednesday night.

On Thursday we woke up and got dressed and stuff and then we waited for Caroline to come over. I had to walk home because I didn't have a ride, so Rachel and Car walked with me. On the way, we stopped at Turkey Hill and got slusheys and then they stayed at my house for a little. Then my mom and I took showers because it was my parent's anniversary. I don't understand why they would want me to go to dinner with them but I did. Then I went to Best Buy and bought two CDs - the Bad Boys II Soundtrack and Ashanti's new CD. We took a looooooong ride so I actually got to listen to them, yay!

Friday was practically nothing all day. I just made some CDs for Rachel that she wanted to do on Thursday. The car wash for Rachel's church was from 6-8 so Rachel's mom came at 5:30. It was pretty non-exciting except for standing on the corner of two main roads and yelling "FREE CAR WASH!!". Then Caroline was getting hit on by all these old motorcycle guys...it was hilarious. We were "the dryers" so we didn't get that wet. We also saw some people we know. Then Rachel, Car, and Rachel's mom came in to say hi to my mom and so that I could give Rachel the CD's I burned.

That's it and now it is Saturday which will mostly be extremely boring unless I can find someone who wants to do something. Maybe I will do something with my neighbors today. I was gonna invite them over yesterday but I had stuff to do during the day and then the car wash so that didn't work. Now I just found out that everybody is working today. Rachel from 7-2 and then she's going away...then Chelsie from 2-9 and Sam from 5-9. So there isn't much there to work with, haha.

Well I must be going now! I have nothing to do, wheeeeeeeeeee!
