lean back, lean back

I just got home from school a little while ago but first I wanna update the last few days.

On Thursday neither Lindsay or Kim could come to Philly so Sam came instead. It was pretty fun, again nothing too exciting. I got to see the Real World Philly house which also wasn't that exciting, ha. We just walked around South Street looking for a bathroom for me and finally found a cool Starbucks. Sadly, I didn't buy anything.

Friday night my dad, some of my uncles, and a bunch of my cousins went to the Phillies game so my mom and I went to hang out with my aunt Lisa and Alyssa. It was a fun night, we just ate junk food and played games...Taboo, lol. There were some funny moments like my mom describing "Something the opposite sex wears..." and Alyssa yells out "Condoms!" That was too funny.

Most of my Saturday morning and early afternoon was spent sleeping since we got home late from Alyssa's house. My mom and dad went somewhere for the day and around 2 o'clock I was motivated to work on my Bio crap. I worked on it on and off until about 6 and then called Lindsay to see if she wanted to do something. We just went to McDonalds, nothing exciting.

On Sunday I had to work and I still had a lot of Bio stuff to do so I sat down after work and worked on it off and on again while watching the Video Music Awards. I was finally completely finished around midnight and then I just got my school papers signed and got my books and purse ready for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

It didn't really hit me that school started because it felt like junior year never ended. Quick story that nobody really cares about (but me!): I pull into the parking lot and I'm like sitting in my car goofing around waiting for a friend to walk in with and after about five minutes Erin came. So we're crossing the parking lot and I see the guy I like coming into the parking lot right behind us. Erin and I had to go to the office to get hang tags for our cars but I was watching for him to come in the building and he did...which you would think would be happy. But nooooo...it was the saddest sight I ever did see!! He was wearing a shirt that the CTC (Career Technology Center) students wear. Which means that he isn't going to be at school allllll day long, just in the morning to catch some damn bus that takes him away, tear tear, sniffle sniffle. So that kinda made it sad buuuuuut the rest of the day was just really fun!

First block I have AP Biology (you know, the class I've been talking about with all the work I've been doing??). I knew of two or three people that I could talk to in there but some of those relationships were a little shaky so I was soooo glad when I walked in the door and saw Sam R. That class is probably gonna be the hardest one this semester but it should be cool...lots of labs and shiz like that.

Second block is coooool yay! Chelsie and Linds are in the class with me along with some other cool kids. When I first walked in and saw who all the other people were I was kinda disappointed because they're all usually snotty, "popular" people who are sometimes really annoying. But the teacher is great and he made it really relaxed and fun right off the bat. We had to do group stuff right way and for some reason I was like talking normally with everyone. Usually I just kind of sit there and watch and don't say a whole lot but everybody was surprisingly really friendly and stuff and it was cool to actually participate for once in my life.

Third block is service learning this half of the semester and gym the second half of the semester. Sam, Erin, Kim, and Melissa are all in that class even though we won't really see each other that often because we'll be out doing our own things. I'm hoping to service learn at the hospital because then Rachel and I can carpool it over there and stuff which would be awesome. Oh, that class is pretty cool too because there aren't really any snotty girls except maybe two...but they can just hang out and be "cool" all by themselves. It's basically me and my buddies and like a few other girls that are OK too and then the other half of the class is boyssssssssssssss. Right on, right Kim???

Lunch was normal, and to be completely honest Samantha Sue was getting on my nerves just a little (sorry, Sam!!). Fourth block is pretty cool too except it's like all girls. But they're all different grades so it's not that bad. I have the same teacher as last year and Rachel and Chelsie are in there along with some new people we were talking to today that are pretty nice.

So all in all, my classes are pretty great. I was really surprised...I guess I wasn't expecting much out of them but it's all good.

Oh my, how could I forget!?!? You know Lindsay's Latin lover?? Well she was in the counseling office today and so was he...oh how exciting for Linds (even though she says she doesn't like him). I saw him too later on (and yes, the hair remains) and he was wearing this hideous yellow shirt, like wtf?? Well I was leaving the school and I'm driving home taking the little short cut past Kim's house which is faster and I'm making the turn and there he is going by me and he was like yelling something at me! What the hell? I don't know. Oh, so he definitely drives a GREEN truck, not a blue one or a gold one. The mystery is finally solved. But yeah...I'm just curious as to why he was driving back towards school and why he did that to me? I'm out, bye.
