Once again, it's been over a month since the last time I wrote an actual entry. I'm looking back in my agenda at the May happenings and to be completely honest, it's a little fuzzy.
One thing I can remember is that my hours at work got cut down pretty drastically...to practically one day a week which really sucks and means no money. What else did I do back in May? Um...some people from student government and NHS were tour guides for 8th grade orientation day. Oh, let me tell you...that was a treat! Those kids are soooo bad but they were actually pretty cool and not stuck up like some other people at school. Ooooh...my seventeenth birthday was in May! If I remember correctly, I went out to eat at Panera's with my mother and Lindsay and I also got my green plastic bag, yay!
Ok...on May 13th in my agenda I have written down that the best song ever is "I Love My Truuuuuck" so I guess I should explain that. The morning news was on and they were playing country music and Rachel was saying how all the country people sing about are their trucks. So that made her think of LB (which I guess is Mr. Milkshake's new nickname...according to Linds it means Lumber Boy but whatever) and she started making up this song about her truck and just the way she sang it was hilarious. So of course, Lindsay and I dared her to sing it in the hallway when he walked past us and she did it...so now we sing that song all the time.
Oh my goodness...how could I forget? On Friday, Jen, Chelsie, Sarah, Andy, Kim, and I decided to go see that movie Troy with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom. On the way there of course we were right behind you know who on his way to work at the lumber yard so he probably thinks we were following him which we weren't, thank you very much. Alright, so getting back to the movie, one word: HOT. Enough said. So after the movies me and Kim took a short drive in our favorite town, Reamstown, and then went back to her house and hung out until it was time to go to our friend Amanda's birthday party, which was really just a bunch of people getting together to go bowling. We left a little early, but Kim and I didn't want to go home just yet so we drove over to Reamstown and totally freaked ourselves out on the back roads. And, as if we weren't scared enough, these crazy little Amish boys were riding their bikes...it doesn't sound that scary but I guess since we kept going around in circles and stuff they got to know us pretty quickly so they started waving and stuff...yeah it was freaky. Oh, and did I mention it was close to eleven at night?
I guess on the 16th I went to Wal-mart and had Chinese for dinner because that's what my agenda says. It also says that I went to LB's house for "Sunday Dinner". Yeah, ok Lindsay, haha. Now you can tell it's getting close to the end of the school year because I have no homework written down for the rest of the week and there's all this random stuff written about corndogs which we won't get into. The study guide for Anatomy was due on Friday the 21st so that day Lindsay, Amy, and I got together at Amy's house to "work" on the study guide. Haha, more like copy the answers from each other. We also had a spaghetti dinner which I somehow spilled in the study guide, haha. Yeah, that night was a lot of laughs. On Friday after school I went shopping at Old Navy and I also picked up my nephew since he was spending the weekend with us. On Sunday we went to the May birthdays at my uncle's house and that was basically the weekend.
Oh oh oh, we're nearing the 28th which just happens to be the day that the HUGE government paper was due...whoo hoo! This week at school I actually remember because in POD the rest of the class did their debates. Just a little background info...about half the class are gun-loving hicks so yeah, they did a gun control debate and I don't wanna sound stupid or moronic but LB sure knew what the hell he was talking about when he did his presentation. He's like smart in his own little way I guess. Him and his buddy who shall remain nameless were using such big words. I guess I'll put a few of the little jokes in here so I can look back and laugh my ass off because they're so stupid. Well, during his presentation LB was saying the word success and he totally said "sex...success" and when the teacher asked him how many guns he had in his house he said "12-18" and me and Lindsay just about died laughing at the randomness of the range of numbers he picked. There was other stuff but I really don't remember right now.
Let's see...Thursday night, yeah. Definitely stayed up ALL NIGHT to do my POD paper which I barely got finished. I guess Mr. Lauris doesn't know me because he said that if you do the entire paper the night before you're definitely gonna get a bad grade. Well...I did pretty good...and most of the points were taken off because I didn't use all 34 sources...I only used 29. I also had to be at school early to hand out pretzels to teachers.
I really don't feel like finishing writing about my last week at school because it's oh so terribly sad. Actually, I just don't feel like it. But I'll do that in the next one, maybe tomorrow. Alrighty, peace out.
Smooches, *Me*
Congrats
If you're made it this far, then you're worthy of being my friend. The end.
